Beaches Boscobel – Jamaica

Published by Tina at 6:07 pm under The Family

To celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary and take our kiddos on a trip that they will hopefully not forget for a while, we took 2 bus rides and 2 plane rides to get to Ocho Rios, Jamaica. There we stayed at an all-inclusive resort and had an amazing time. The resort includes a private beach, several pools, a waterpark, several restaurants, entertainment for everyone in the evenings and of course, beautiful grounds and constant sunshine.

The kids went to Kids Camp for a few hours every morning where they did lots of arts-n-crafts and went on adventure walks collecting local flowers and observing the wild life. Brad and I took that time to read, relax by the pool or keep the bartenders busy at the swim-up bar. In the afternoons we would take the kids to the beach or the waterpark and swim to our hearts content. Sophie got quite good at “swimming”/keeping herself afloat and Clay showed us that he has no fear when it comes to the water and being right there with us even on the big slides. The resort has a deal with Sesame Street so it was quite normal to run into Elmo at the lunch line or see Abby Cadabby sunning herself by the pool.

We had a wonderful time and often reflected on our first 10 years of marriage. We’ve had some amazing times and some heart breaks but continue to learn more about each other every day and both look forward to what is next in store for us.
