Up the Coast
With my parents visiting for the week, we decided to head up to Santa Barbara for a Valentine’s stay weekend before last at The Hotel Mar Monte. The room and view were wonderful, but dinner at Bistro 1111 left a lot to be desired. We enjoyed it all the same, hungry after a trip to the zoo, where Sophie ran wild as the animals she saw that excited her so.
The next day, we drove over the mountains to visit some wineries in Santa Ynez. It was cold and windy, but beautiful. Sophie was so tuckered out by the time we got home, she laid down on the bathroom floor as I was drying her hair.
It looks like you all had SO MUCH FUN! I wish we were there also. One day (when we no longer have a little girl living with us) we will come out and have some too!

What a beautiful family!!! As for the old guy with the wavy, white hair … well, even HE looks OK … after a glass of vino! So glad you all got to share some fun, family time! Sophie’s cuter than ever!
