Sophia is here!
Sophia Elizabeth Kersten Riddell was born at 12:25 PM, Tuesday, September 4. She was 7 pounds 8 ounces and 20 inches long. Mom was amazing. The baby was delivered in less than 30 pushes. She doesn’t look tired at all. Both she and the little one are perfectly healthy. Sophie latched on without a problem. More photos to follow.
She is absolutely beautiful…just like her mama! Congratulations Riddell family!

The first to comment on my grandaughter, she is beautiful, and I am so proud of mother, daughter, and of course my son the coach. It pays off being a coach’s son. Congratulations Tina, Brad and the newest member SOPHIA.

A few moments ago I just has the extreme experience of seeing Sophie for the first time. Words fail me, my heart is full of joy, pride and thankfulness. Tina and Brad you have a wonderful life and it is just going to get even better. She does not look like she was just born, she is like the pretty pink pearls in the book I read to her. I wonder how many times I will get up during the night, go to the computer and look at her. MANY TIMES I AM SURE. I love all three of you . I am so happy for you. Blessings. I’ll pay for the overnight if you want to ship her here so i can hold her. She’s gorgeous. I became an uncle today. I hope i’m not the crazy uncle but i have a feeling i will be. Keep the pictures comin because she will look different everyday. Congrats and enjoy. Life just got a whole lot better.
Yippee! Another girl – and a gorgeous one at that! Wow! You guys sure made a beautiful baby. We can’t believe from her pictures she is only a few hours old. Tina – you look marvelous! I’m jealous! You guys have been in my thoughts and prayers over the last several days. I knew it was almost “go time!” She is beautiful gift from God You guys will make amazing, loving parents through this new phase of life. I look forward to getting together in the near future so we can meet her.
I will be sure to keep you posted on our upcoming family addition. Aaron Mitchell Hait is due Sept. 24. Mom hopes he comes sooner…

I see the same sparkle of MeMe in her eyes already…you know she was right there with you don’t you? I told her, before she left, she would have a front row seat when little Sophie made her grand entrance in the world.

HOLY CRAP!! Brad has a daughter. Does this mean I have to get a shotgun now? Even though I’ve already been through it myself, it’s still weird looking at her cute little face and thinking, “there’s some Brad in there”. Congrats, Tina. I won’t tell Leslie how quickly the end came for you. She still hasn’t recovered, 17 months later. Good job mom!
