Make a Dime

Published by admin at 5:00 pm under The Blog

Alright, so here’s a little reward for the Dime’s faithful readers. Guess how much money is in the change jar below (click on the image to enlarge), and you will win a prize if your entry is the closest to the total dollar amount. The jar is about 13 inches tall, 20 inches around, and is filled to the brim.

Email your entry to smoofv@yahoo.com, and we will annnounce the winner in two weeks. Good luck, and don’t forget to check out my Dash For Dimes page to help me raise money for the March of Dimes as I run the LA Marathon.

I read this funny quote from the late comedian, Mitch Hedberg:

There was a jar of jelly beans at the state fair that said `guess how many and you win the jar’- I was like `c’mon man; lemme just have some. You can guess how many I want. If you guessed `a handful’, you are correct.” – Mitch Hedberg

    Bradley,

Could you please turn the bottle around now? I have counted all the coins on the side facing us, I now would like to see the other side! LOLOLOL Just kidding. Wow, this is a hard one…..but I would submit a guess and if I win and the winnings are monitary, the money will be returned to you for the March of Dimes Run! : )

Thanks for playing, Kim. The prize will have value, but will not be monetary, and will be the winner’s to keep!

Ummm….I got this one. No problem.

I will, by the way, offer you a way for a double match on any money raised for the March of Dimes. In other words, $100 equals $300.
